2019-2020

I joined TigerTrends on a whim in sophomore year and it ended up becoming one of the most significant steps of my photography career.  A fashion magazine started at Princeton just two years ago, TigerTrends introduced me to the world of model photography, and has inspired some of my favorite work to date. Here are some of the shoots I did in my first year!

issue: oct. 2019
stylist: Amanda Vera
models: Lindsey Moore, Ana Sotomayor

a fun first shoot. learned that stairs are a clutch posing tool when you don’t know how to pose models yet

issue: oct. 2019
stylist: david borts
models: shoichi hayashi, timothy kopec

a pleasure working with my boi shoichi underneath that radiant golden hour sun 👌

issue: nov. 2019
stylist: anna yang
models: pheobe park, bryant so

colors were insane for this shoot. models straight up killed it too. tried my hand at using a mounted flash for the first time for that industrial look. shot on top of the parking garage next to Wawa

issue: nov. 2019
stylist: lisa john
models: millie hernandez, farrah lee

snuck into mccosh on a saturday for this shoot.

issue: the paper shoot
stylist: tigertrends staff
models: hailey colborn, santi guiran

shot on a staff visit to paper magazine nyc headquarters in their “professional” studio, which suspiciously resembled a coat room. despite being provided with only two shitty continuous lights and a vomit-colored backdrop, we made do. thankfully power duo miss teen america 2018 hailey and class of ‘22 class prez santi were there to carry.

issue: feb. 2020
stylist: xixi shi
model: eric stinehart

#1 reason to visit the east asian studies library: they have colorful books

issue: feb. 2020
stylist: meredith tamiraian
models: cat marques, hunter worth

epic golden hour lighting once again. shoutout to the models for dodging all that geese poop next to carnegie lake

issue: feb. 2020
stylist: sara howell
models: grace tan, max johns

what can i say. everything was in its right place. chic and colorful locations, edgy harsh lighting, fire models, and madame editor-in-chief herself serving as stylist. also last shoot before the pandemic hit. i call that a W
